The Lincoln High School Aquatic Center is a new building at the existing high school pool complex.  The Aquatic Center is located at the high school sport facility entry on the south east side of the campus. Walkways connect students and visitors to other sports complexes and facility parking.

The new building was constructed to provide locker facilities, staff office space, and covered and open pool storage areas.  Building materials of concrete block were used for both durability and ease of maintenance.  Interior finishes of sealed concrete block and slip resistant concrete flooring were selected for low maintenance.

New multi-tiered landscaping incorporates drop off areas and outdoor seating areas which, although fenced for security, allow for campus views into the pool facility.

Tight project scheduling deadlines were required to meet the school’s designated sports programs.  The facility was successfully designed, approved by DSA and built within the eight month period provided by the Design-Build contract.
