GRA Architecture is working with the Salvation Army in the development of their Master Plan for Camp Del Oro located in Nevada City, California. The projects includes several phased projects to their 170 acre existing site. Phase I is the development of a new water front amphitheater and bridge expansion. The facility will be located at the camps main entry overlooking Lake Vera. The amphitheater will incorporate stage, terraced grass and stone seating, canopied shading structures, new landscaped areas for shading and audio and lighting systems. The project will use site materials to reflect the camps surrounding environment.

Phase II -IV will include the design of 18 new site single instructors and duplex cabins, 2 new lodges, and a multipurpose facility. The Master Plan has been submitted to the County of Nevada City for approval. The Phase I amphitheater is scheduled to complete by summer of 2009.
