This proposed building for the Salvation Army will replace their existing facility with a newly designed project which incorporates adult housing, medical care, office administration, kitchen, cafeteria, computer labs and library. Key issues requested from the client were to provide a building with flexibility of spaces for shared use and with high durability of building materials. Spaces such as the cafeteria share use for worship; computer labs and library were structured to incorporate teaching and classroom spaces. The building exterior materials consist of corrugated steel panels and split face concrete block. Interior walls are designed to include tile wainscot and impact resistant gypsum board.
