Franklin Ranch Veterinary Clinic and Pet HotelThe owner, Tom Zehnder, desired to build an animal clinic and boarding facility that was within a required project budget. The site is a rural setting just outside the town of Hood Franklin.
The project consists of two separate buildings: Clinic and Boarding Facilities, that open to a common entry plaza. The “barn characteristic” was chosen for both response to site context, and to meet the owner’s “firm project costs”.

Ace HardwareThe owner purchased a building pad in an existing shopping center. Ace Hardware is now the second anchor tenant in the center. The design included two 1,500 SF retail spaces that the owner has leased out and will be used for expansion of their operation in the future. An exterior 2,500 SF garden center adjoins the main retail building.

Chicago Fire Pizza, RosevilleWest of Chicago Restaurants, Inc. was establishing their 2nd location in the Sacramento area. The location would be occupying an empty restaurant and the design of the newest restaurant for this company would have to incorporate the vision that the owner had on the appearance of this renovated restaurant, as well as the constraints of the current building.

LB ConstructionThe remodel of LB Construction’s central office consisted of a combined 15,000 square feet of individual offices, conference room, central “war room”, individual restrooms, and employee lounge. Sutter Health Care Data CenterOriginally designed and built for TELEGIS, an internet hosting site. The facility now houses the complete data system for the Sutter Health Hospital system, including a virtual ICU department that remotely monitors intensive care units throughout the Sutter Health system.
The facility includes a raised access flood data center, UPS battery backup, and three emergency generators that N+1 power backup for the entire site. The security system includes a level three bullet resistant lobby, one way...

Pizza GuysThe client purchased a small site that bordered Highway 99 to construct a retail center. Hembuzz Corporation is the parent company of Pizza Guys. The corporation owns several other retail centers that house one of their pizza restaurants. This is the first center that they have constructed from the ground up.

The Club at Shadow Lakes, Clubhouse/Pro Shop and Cart BarnThe Golf Course Clubhouse includes the Pro Shop, full service dining room, and bar with outdoor dining for 84 people.
The Cart Barn is designed to accommodate 84 golf carts and currently is being renovated as an event center with a catering kitchen and outdoor trellised seating area
